  5. Hi all! Consider this as BETA software. Please report any
  6. BUGS to our web page at SourceForge.net. We have decided
  7. to release one more BETA version before going to final
  8. FMA 2.2 build, so here is the latest FMA 2.1 Beta 4.
  9.  
  10. The current build includes many bugfixes and improvements.
  11. Some new features were implemented too, as separating FMA's
  12. and Phone's Text Messages folders. Now moving SMS messages
  13. between Phone and FMA is more intuitional and easy than
  14. before.
  15.  
  16. This BETA version does not include latest support for Sony
  17. Ericsson phones W900, M600 and similar. Some new brands as
  18. K610 are partially supported (no Groups, no Bookmarks), and
  19. we have plans to add full support for them in final FMA 2.2
  20. if possible.
  21.  
  22. Always do a backup of profile databases before using this 
  23. new FMA Beta 4.

  93. o User Folders and Delivery Rules:
  94.  
  95. All Custom Text Messages folders (if any) were moved under 
  96. new Explorer's node named FMA Text Folders. On first FMA
  97. start you will be prompted to relocate all of these folders.
  98. Just create an appripriate new folder for every old one.
  99.  
  100. And all Delivery Rules attached to the old folders will be 
  101. automatically relocated to the corresponding new folders.
  102. You don't have to care about this.
  103.  
  104. o FMA Portable Mode settings:
  105.  
  106. If you have chosen "Don't ask me again for this device"
  107. option in Portable Mode dialog and want to revert this
  108. setting, then hold down CTRL key to ignore any Portable 
  109. Mode settings and show FMA Startup mode selection dialog 
  110. again.
  111.  
  112. o Web Update from version 2.1.3.33:
  113.  
  114. This applies only to FMA 2.1.3.33. If you are using or
  115. installing a different version, skip this notes.
  116.  
  117. How to update from 2.1.3.33 version which hang-ups?
  118.  
  119. - Exit FMA and go to following directory:
  120. C:\Documents and Settings\<your-user-name>\Application Data
  121.  
  122. - Rename FMA folder to FMA_old
  123.  
  124. - Start 2.1.3.33 version and update it to 33a patch
  125.  
  126. - Exit FMA and go back to directory:
  127. C:\Documents and Settings\<your-user-name>\Application Data
  128.  
  129. - Delete FMA folder (remember, your data is in FMA_old one)
  130.  
  131. - Rename FMA_old folder back to FMA
  132.  
  133. Now you can use new patched FMA with your data preserved.
